Weight Loss Lies
For many of us there are a number of misconceptions, which through different
media, we are told.
The best example is when we see a person taking a drink “light” and it is a
thin woman. Perhaps not tell us that drink light makes us slim, but you observe that
image several times and with many products of this type, so that eventually have to accept
that will make you lose weight.
This is just one example, but look what are 4 of the big lies that have made us believe:
1) “With only 10 minutes of exercise a day, you will achieve weight loss”
Physical activity is important for increasing caloric expenditure, but
10 minutes will not achieve sufficient caloric expenditure.
Here are some exercises and their estimated caloric expenditure:
-Bike for an hour: 120 calories consumed.
“Walking for one hour: 210 calories consumed.
“Dancing for an hour: 204 calories consumed.
How many calories do you think you can burn for 10 minutes?
Really very little and definitely not enough to lose weight.
2) “Without exercise, without effort or diet, or applies only takes” X ”
weight loss product ”
Fake.
True weight loss is achieved to combine a workout
practiced regularly, ideally with personalized nutritional guidance.
Be very careful with some ingested products that offer weight loss,
because they can producirte a series of metabolic alterations in your
organism. Besides weight loss products should be prescribed
by your doctor and according to every need and always act as
adjuvant, ie, always need some exercise and practice
a healthy diet.
3) “To lose weight, you should stop eating”
Beware of feed you once or twice daily. While it may be
that losing weight is also true that (as a means of
compensation), the body will decrease your metabolism and when you return to
feed you 3 times a day, gain the weight back and then some. Moreover
unhealthy eating (regularly), in fewer than 3 times
day.
4) And finally “lose weight by eating light”
The light products, have lower in carbohydrates or fat than their “no light”, but
does not mean you lose weight simply eat them. In addition, a product is light,
because its like “no light”, has high levels of carbohydrates or fats, which implies that the
“Light version” will always have a non negligible amount of these nutrients.
A truly healthy product does not have “light versions”.
There are several other misconceptions about losing weight you must avoid and my advice is that,
when you decide to lose weight, consult your doctor or nutritionist for appropriate guidance in
nutrition and selects a qualified coach for a proper exercise routine.
