
The risk of obesity depends largely on the location of fat. The biggest impact is that the heart is what accumulates in the abdomen.
Patients with increased abdominal fat presented a significant increase in risk of cardiovascular disease. So maintaining weight within reasonable limits is very important for the normal functioning of the heart, blood vessels, metabolism, bones and all organs of our body.
Depending on where you focus, we can distinguish between two types of obesity:
* Obesity peripheral or gynoid. Fat on buttocks, thighs and arms.
* Central obesity, abdominal or android. Fat on the abdomen.
