postheadericon New York to Campaign Against Obesity

The problems of obesity in the United States are not new. Probably many of us comes to mind the flag of that country if we think of obesity or fast food, and the fact identify the culture of obesity to a country is quite problematic for a nation.

There have been few attempts by the U.S. government to curb this tendency to gain weight and unhealthy life. For example, in 2006 was banned in restaurants in New York Trans fats, and in 2003 banned smoking in bars and restaurants. Even thinking about forcing fast food chains to disclose calorie containing each of their menus.

And another initiative will be launched shortly, and is promoting through “green cars” of fruits and vegetables so that they are accessible to the population.

The green carts are mobile stations of fruits and vegetables, which are currently in the wealthy neighborhoods of the city, but live in places where people with lower incomes who are forced to buy unhealthy foods, which are packaged and processed.

1000 with the issuance of new permits to manage more green cars, the New York City Hall looking down obesity levels present in the members of the population, and indeed it seems to me an excellent measure.
